How to clean ostrich boots that have been stained by cooking oil? HELP!?
You will probably not get all the oil out, but...apply corn starch liberally, pat it into the leather and hope...repeat if necessary...all the oil that is going to come out will do so with Corn Starch...clean off the corn starch with a brush...if you can still see the oil stains, then get some neatsfoot oil at the hardware store and oil the entire boot...the stain will most probably disappear...but the leather will be a few shades darker, and somewhat water proof when you are finished.
