Oh no! They are very different. Motor oil is made from crude oil. The fossil kind. It is poisonus! Fossil oil is composed entirely out of hydrocarbons. Cooking oil is organic and its composition is quite different. They are triclycerids meaning they are composed of three molecules of fattyacids combined with one glycerol molecule.Is motor oil the same as cooking oil?

no! motor oil has more hydrocarbons than cooking oil esp. if u cooking oil is from corn or vegetables then theyre totally different!
