I got an answer to my other question saying that you can run your car with cooking oil. Actually, half cooking oil, have diesel, is this true?Ok, Now running your car with cooking oil?
The conversion has been done a number of times to allow vehicles to do this. The individual usually gets some notice on TV or the newspaper.

One problem is finding someone who can do it without damaging your engine. Then there is the problem of a reliable supply. One person can go to various restaurants and get waste cooking oil for free. Several hundred people in a town would create a demand for it greater than the supply. Restaurants would start charging.

If you buy cooking oil at the store, it is about $3.25 per quart.Ok, Now running your car with cooking oil?
you can really run it on 100 percent cooking oil. The trick is to start the engine on diesal and allow it to get at the correct operating temp. Once you have reached this temp switch over to the cooking oil. You pretty much setup a electric vavle that will stop diesal gas from entering into the engine and at the same time allowing the cooking oil to enter. There are a couple of companys that make these kit, and they are really easy to install and setup
Sure it will probably run for a few hours then you will REALLY REALLY REALLY screw your car to hell. If it's a diesel car then yes it will be better but, a gas car is out of the question.
