Yeah..next thing you know you won't be able to smoke in a bar...oh wait they did that already... =(Is NYC run by the Gestapo? First they ban cooking oil and now bake sales. WTF?
It's a vicious plot to get all the people to stay home an cook healthy food...what could those evil people be thinking?





And besides, who would want to eat cupcakes cooked by total strangers who could lace them with anything, from used kitty litter to rat poison? I vetoed bake sales participation for my family way back when Halloween candy started coming with needles and razor blades!





I am not hard-hearted, and often give cash donations to groups that hold bake-sales, but I just don't eat their home-made goodies...not everyone is as careful about washing their hands, not having the cat walk on the table, etc. as I would be!Is NYC run by the Gestapo? NYC is shooting to be the healthiest city in the USA. Bloomberg was also responsible for no smoking in public places. I don't smoke but it is yet another infringement on our rights.
Every time some fat bureaucrat decides to quit doing something %26amp; ';change'; his life he figures everyone else needs to quit too. Bastards.
They didn't ban cooking oil...just cooking oil with loads of trans fat in it.
