I spilled hot cooking oil in my hand?

Keep it under ice cold water for awhile. Fill a basin with cold water and add ice to it and soak it in there to relieve the pain. Would you happen to have an aloe plant in the house? Break one stem open and smear the juice on the burned area and let it dry. If not, smear honey...yes, honey all over the burn and wrap in sterile gauze. There are fantastic healing properties in honey, and will prevent an infection. Do not smear butter on the burn. That will only make it worse. Once the pain subsides a bit, by tomorrow, put on an antibiotic ointment, like Neosporin. Or, the honey would be just as good.I spilled hot cooking oil in my hand?
There are many websites with instructions on how to treat burns:

For proper treatment you must first evaluate how bad or to what degree the burn is.I spilled hot cooking oil in my hand?
Don't put ice or real cold water!! This cause blistering. Get a towel and run COOL water and wrap your hand in loosely. Apply burn cream or triple antibiotic ointment or aloe vera. If possible keep uncovered but if you have to go out or will be doing things than cover.
OW!

Run cold water on it. Do not put butter on it. When it stops hurting, put aloe gel or Neosporin on the burned area to speed healing.

Good luck!
Butter, and then cover with a couple of layers of paper towels and

put some ice on it. A bag of frozen peas works great.
