SPILLED COOKING OIL ON SHEEPS SKIN BOOT YESTERDAY...HOW TO GET OUT! PLEASE HELP!?!?!?

I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET STAIN OUT....THE BOOTS ARE BROWN AND THE OIL LEFT A DARK STAIN....IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET OUT?SPILLED COOKING OIL ON SHEEPS SKIN BOOT YESTERDAY...HOW TO GET OUT! PLEASE HELP!?!?!?
if it were my boots I would apply the same cooking oil to both boots on all surfaces so you have an even penetration.

because leather (or sheep skin) is skin it will naturally absorb the oils and the oils will eventually spread out through the leather to an even consistency. you may never be able to get all the oil out of the boots but as long as both boots are the same color it will be fine and the darkness will fade with time just like your hands get dry out after a while and you have to reapply moisturizer.

if you have a boot tree you can actually soak the boots in luke warm water and mild dish liquid solution (like 2 or 3 drops in a sink full of water) them rinse them thoroughly with luke warm water rubbing the leather/skin with your hands. don't scrub with anything or you will wreck the texture of the material.

then boot the boots on the boot tree and leave at room temperature to dry slowly over several days. DO NOT use a hair dryer, heater or fan. this will cause the leather to dry too fast and it will warp out of shape and ruin your boots.

if you have fur on the boots it can be fluffed up by using the vacuum cleaner on it on low power, it will extend the hairs out straight and prevent clumping.

good luck and i hope you are happy with the results.

Don't use any cleaners or heavy detergents on itt or you will strip the natural oils out of the skin and permanently ruin your boots.SPILLED COOKING OIL ON SHEEPS SKIN BOOT YESTERDAY...HOW TO GET OUT! PLEASE HELP!?!?!?
Smother the oil in talcum powder to absorb the oil, leave it on for about 20 minutes, then shake or beat the talcum powder off. You may need to do this a few times to remove all the oil.

If they're Ugg boots that can be washed, a super great way to get rid of oil is to smear dish washing liquid on the oil, let it sit a few minutes then run the boots through a gentle wash cycle (just water), then let them air dry a few days.

But try the talcum first before you subject them to water.
acecowboy's answer is so complete you should give him the points - there is nothing else to add! happy new year
