Heating cooking oil=Trans fat?

When you heat cooking oil (Canola for instance), does it turn unsaturated fats to trans fats? This was mentioned on a bobybuilder's site.Heating cooking oil=Trans fat?
I remember reading a lot of b.s. on those sites and magazines. It is funny that they will recomend taking andro and have steroid ads in them but tell you not to do something for your health.... that aside you really have to head camola pretty high to get the trans fat (which is a chemical process) that will make them switch form a liquid to a solid. I always recomend cooking with olive and peanut oil since they are better fats but if its in a body building site or add it's probably b.s. trans fats are made by hydrogenation.Heating cooking oil=Trans fat?
No, it doesn't turn unsaturated fat into transfat. Transfat is formed by the splitting of chemical molecules, and this cannot be accomplished simply by regular heating.
