i am cooking for a diabetic ,heart patient..I have 100% pure olive oil .can i use it for cooking?
I wouldn't use 100% olive oil Its really heavy and not meant to cook in. Its meant to lightly drizzle..

I would sunflower oil Its much healthier

Good Luck ;-)I have 100% pure olive oil .can i use it for cooking?
Healthier choice and safe for diabetics. I wouldnt use olive oil for deep frying due to a low smoking point. It's good for sauteeing and if it's extra virgin oo it's great on a salad or for dipping bread.
of course, as long as there is no added sugar, read the content!
Just don't heat it too hot, it looses the health benefits
if your oil it is simple olive oil you can surely use for cooking purpose but if your oil is extra vergine olive oil the best use is for raw dishes, salad, tomatoes bread and best for bruschetta.

Bruschetta is toasted bread on rubbed a gar lick clove small fine iodized salt and generous amount of Italian extra vergine olive oil.
Absolutely, very healthy for them.I would use it sparingly.Good choice.
Sure you can, it is healthier and better for most dishes. Dip your feshly baked bread in a good 100% virgin olive oil for every bite is just heavenly.

Absolutely. Olive oil is one of the best oils you can use in cooking. Use canola oil for frying things, and use olive oil for everything else, sprinkle olive oil on vegetables, on salads. No problem at all. Make sure the next time you buy the olive oil, buy Extra Virgin Olive Oil, as it is much more superior than regular pure olive oil.
Best to check with the patient's physician, or reference the dietary instructions s/he surely received.
Yes you can use it for cooking .It is healthier than grease
yes. it's better that using vegatable oil. healthier
yes,it has no sugar.its better than other oil.....
Yes, just don't heat it up to a high temperature. I use it all the time for cooking. It's also great, with a little pure balsamic vinegar, for dipping bread in. Yummy!
