I have peanut oil that I've had for 2 years opened but not used. Is it still good to use for cooking?

First smell it and see if it smells rancid. Then I would stick the end of my finger in and taste it. It very well will be okay. I've just finished up a 2 litre bottle of canola oil that has been open at least that long if not a year or so longer.I have peanut oil that I've had for 2 years opened but not used. I wouldn't eat anything that old but I am more picky than most. I am sure it is fine.I have peanut oil that I've had for 2 years opened but not used. Is it still good to use for cooking?
i'd be surprised if it wasn't rancid by now. personally, i would toss it.....
if opened probably not. i wouldn't.
If you'd have it for two years, throw it away. Peanut Oil, especially. These tend to rot really easily.
It should be fine. Sheck the date though. It will not affect the taste, just it may not be too good for you/
