for e.g: canola liquid oil or the blocks of fat/oil from the supermarket fridge.
My husband re-uses it a lot, for baking chicken/pork/vegies/lamb etc.How many times can you re-use cooking oil?
When Using Those Oil Products Mentioned, Once it Begins to Get a Tan Complexion and Smokes, its Time to Discard it , Especially when Cooking Meat Products as Mentioned. How many times can you re-use cooking oil?
Only a couple times. Think of it this way: how long before a vegetable or meat (the product it comes from) goes bad? Granted, oil will last longer than normal veggies or meats, especially when refrigerated.
Just about everything goes bad. Oil starts to smell and taste rancid. It goes even faster when it has been mixed with new oils from the food it's helped cook. Your best bet is to periodically taste it in comparison with fresh oil.
Just one time, you should just use the amount of oil you require and throw it out after you have finished cooking. Remember there will be particles of food in the oil too.
