Can cars run on water and cooking oil?

Water, not yet. But cooking oil, yes. Older diesel cars are more and more being converted to ';grease cars';, burning waste oil (mostly) and other organic oils.

Biodiesel is typically a diesel fuel made by brewing waste cooking oils with a few other ingedients to make usable fuel. Can cars run on water and cooking oil?
Yup, it's been proven. I believe it works too...Can cars run on water and cooking oil?
Water, no. You can run it on hydrogen, which burns to form water, or react water and coal to form synthetic gasoline... but the water itself already been burned, so you can't burn it again. There are a few ideas out in the realm of physics in between theoretical and practical that can get energy out of water, such as a fusion reactor... but would you really want one of those under your hood?

Cooking oil, on the other hand, isn't too difficult to burn in a diesel engine. And there are other engines out there, such as steam engines or Stirling engines, that'll literally run on anything that burns.
Water not yet, but diesel can run on cooking oil but you Will need to look it up on the speed TV or Spike TV channel's website. We did watch it and the host's name was Stacy. You will have to do something to it to get it done. I haven't heard of any such thing going on for gas engines. Good luck.
not water yet but my diesel Mercedes runs on used vegetable oil that i get free i got tired of buying gas because i drive a lot delivering pizza i have driven my car 1,600 miles on diesel/wvo and i only used about 9 gallons of diesel i only use diesel for starting the car then i flip a switch on my dash and i run on vegetable oil all day and my diesel gage will not move at all i use about 5 to 10 gallons of vegetable oil a day
I have heard of fuel alternatives for diesel engine automobiles, but not for cars that run on good ol' gasoline. I would advise staying away from putting anything else in your tank unless you can afford to replace the engine.

Gas prices suck, get a Kroger or Wal-mart membership and purchase cheap gasoline. It's going to get you a lot further than water or cooking oil.
Western countries are investing big money Hydrogen technology If and when this is achieved cars will be powered by water

Already used used cooking oil is being purified and cleaned to power diesel engines

So if a car has a diesil engine,Yes it can run on cooking oil

Water is coming,oneday
water is 66% hydrogen which is enough to run a engine. that dont mean put water in your car!!!! Diesel were first invented to run off peanut oil and many people run biodiesel in some large cities they sell biodiesel
