Denver to tax cooking oil. What won't be taxed next?

This is what happens when you let the government punish other people for their bad habits.

Gee, I don't smoke, so go ahead and tax cigarettes!

Gee, I don't drink, so go ahead and tax alcohol!

When will people wake up and realize that, eventually, they will come for you?

Are human beings doomed to keep repeating the same mistakes generation after generation? Can't we ever progress to intelligence as the norm, not the exception?

I believe they are taxing the oil because used fryer oil can be sold to make bio diesel and they haven't figured out how to tax that yet. And if they have then this tax is illegal as it is a form of double taxing
These worthless politician assholes have no shame.
Breathing fresh air will not be taxed.

2 points.
This is a local issue...complain to the Denver City Council...DUH!
You have got to be kidding. That article had to be straight tabloid?
